No. Since the balloon is supported by a rigid structure (the pole), you can use standard air.

You can mount the balloon on a pole of your choosing and height (the higher the better for visibility).

• Ideal Fit: A 1-inch (2.54 cm) or 1.25-inch (3.18 cm) diameter pole. These provide enough stability without forcing the material.
• The "Tight" Limit: You can use a 1.35-inch pole, but it may be difficult to slide the balloon on or off, especially if the material gets wet or cold.

Changes in temperature can cause the air inside to expand or contract.

• Cold weather: The balloon may look slightly deflated. Simply add a small amount of air.
• Hot weather: The air will expand. If the balloon feels rock-hard, bleed a little air out to prevent the seams from bursting.

Don't panic! Most small leaks can be fixed with a clear vinyl repair patch. Clean the area with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, and apply the patch firmly. Avoid using duct tape, as the adhesive can degrade the balloon material over time.
